And chances are, you are also putting up with some irritating noise. To protect hearing, tune out irritating noise while you enjoy your favorite music station, you need AOSafety WorkTunes. WorkTunes is the first of its kind, offering optimum hearing protection and both AM and FM stereo radio. In the past, people who wanted to listen to the radio while completing noisy tasks cranked up the volume on their stereo headsets. Traditional stereo headsets offer no hearing protection and have volume levels that can exceed 115 decibels (the threshold of pain). The result? The too high volume causes hearing damage, although noise induced hearing loss is 100 percent preventable. WorkTunes offers hearing protection with a volume control limit of 82 decibels. Reader Reviews This would seem like an easy thing to make.... This unit was feable straight from the box only one side/speaker worked the other was about 1/4 the volume and there's no balance adjustment. It didn't pull in FM stations as well as my other radios The company web site is lacking and support is canned i.e. go visit a dealer for info. Wait until someone builds a better one. Or use small earbud phones w/an iPod or whatever and wear a regular headset over it to keep out the noise. I returned the one I bought. Comment | Permalink | (Report this)
