It is very small and projects a nice picture, but, it has a fan that kicks into high gear and the noise is noticable since it is not running all the time. I think the noise factor de-values the projector. I have an epson 77c that has no noticable fan noise and projects a picture of almost the same quality. We placed the two projectors side by side and used a dual imput to both projectors. Even though the optoma has more lumens and a higher contrast ratio , it was hard to determine the optoma picture as having any superior quality. I bought the Optoma projecter on-line and have no choice but to like it, but---if I could have done the same comparisson test prior to purchase--I would opt for another projector.
