Reader Reviews The Ameriphone XL 30 is one of a very few phones that will amplify the OUTGOING signal. Our phone line is not great and people kept telling us, "I can't hear you!" No more. I installed the XL 30 in a wall mount mode, switched on the 15 db amplification and Bingo, no more problems. It will also add amplification to the incoming signal and allow you to shift the tone curve so that it can be adjusted to your ears.
